Coming off our win last week at Lincoln Speedway was pretty awesome. Their so hard to come by and I Cherish every single win we get. It's hard to say with this competition when your next win will be, just giving 100% every race is all we can ask for.
Well, with racing, there is your highs and there is your lows. I went from being on top of the world to a hurt knee and waiting to build a brand new XXX, ha ha, isn't it great?
I took the hardest hit yet Wednesday night at Grandview Speedway. I made a mistake when trying to set up a pass on the nights feature winner, Brian Leppo. Congrats to Brian by the way... But that is part of this whole deal, I bet I won't do it again.
Anyway, just letting everyone know, everything is good and we're still hard at it. Thanks for all the support!
I'm living the dream of a hard working dedicated sprint car driver! P.S. it's hard to find sleep with this dream :)

Rain Rain Rain...
It never stops, does it? Tonights World of Outlaw race at Williams Grove was canceled due to a light mist that would not go away...
Off to Lincoln tommorrow, hopefully! More rain on the forecast... isn't spring great? HA!

Friday Night Review
I am proud to say that we have figured some things out for time trials and did really well Friday night. We were 9th fastest overall in practice and timed in at 17.327 and placing us in 6th place. I was very pleased and to be honest, it made my night despite us sinking ourselves in the heat race. We just made an honest mistake and misread the track. We took the rest of the night and used it as a learning session, especially after getting caught up on the opening lap wreck in turn 3 and 4.
It felt like we would have had a good car for the feature until that wrecked set us back a good ways. Kind of took the wind out of my sail, but you know, that's racing and we don't stop fighting till the race is over...
Like I said, to time in 6th fastest against the World of Outlaws is a huge accomplishment for us. That shows we're making small leaps and getting better. It so freaking tough having a young team with absolutely no sprint car experience at all go out there and beat guys who have been in this game for 10, 20, 30+ years. It's crazy! If we learn something that will benefit us after each and every race, then we're heading in the right direction.

Last weekend
Well I guess it's only fair I talk about last weekends races since this was created for that reason... Honestly I was not to happy with our results. We struggled in areas we normally don't, but I looked back at it as a weekend that just wasn't meant to be. It's hard to understand sometimes when you get on a roll and you don't change anything, but then you start to fall. It goes back to whoever can keep up with the changes will be the successful ones and that is true... We haven't been on our game in that aspect and it's time we start.
I'm most disappointed in Williams Grove. How many times do they have to give us crappy tracks to race on? Thank god it rained Friday night or it would have been a snooze fest which the past 2 weeks It has been. It's not fun and I know fans aren't enjoying it. Look at the stands, and it's not economy based because look at Lincoln and other local tracks... But that's my frustrating moment of the post...
11th Friday and 8th Saturday is not anything to get upset over especially against the quality cars here in PA, but it does not meet our expectations and we are trying hard to figure it out.
We will get over our little hump we are stuck behind, it's a matter of time, I have awesome fans who keep my head held high... Kudos to those people!

Outlaws
Well the first stop by the World of Outlaws is this weekend at Williams Grove. I love the Outlaws and someday is what I hope to be apart of. It takes so much time and hard work to be as competitive as them and that's great! It's what makes us so strong when they come into town, in my opinion...
I put a TON of hours in this week and we're all ready to rock and roll, all we got to do is load up tomorrow afternoon. I am damned to say that I have not made a WoO race yet...it sucks to say that, but it's tough and are real struggle has been with time trials. I wish I knew why but that's why we have been trying so hard to figure it out. Last friday night at the Grove we had an Outlaw tune up and for time trials, it's the best the car has ever handled during that segment. It felt free and very effortless to drive, but unfortunately, did not show on the clock...well we found out something with the power plant I won't go into detail about (noone really needs to know). Anyway, we figured that out and I am coming friday night with the exact same setup we were experimenting with last friday. Im excited to see what it'll do on the clock!
Once we get this time trial deal on hand, I think we will be set to be competitive the rest of the night. We need it, I need it, our damn funds need it! Over all I am looking forward to it, it's fun... All i'll say is, I love sprint car racing, I love competition, and I love the feeling of conquering something that has been trembling your feet for so long. It's my third year in sprint cars and it's time I get up on the pony and shine, one way or another.
This friday and saturday will be Williams Grove for the Outlaws and Sunday will be at Lincoln Speedway
